Strasser Woodenworks launched the Montlake Profile in July 2026 — a new take on their best-selling Montlake vanity, available now. Homeowners want a vanity that looks like furniture, but most furniture-style vanities are built on legs, which leaves nowhere to conceal plumbing that comes up through the floor. That's exactly how plumbing runs in much of the older housing stock in Denville, Morristown, Boonton, and Randolph. The Montlake Profile solves it by redesigning the Montlake base as a furniture-style toe kick: visually the vanity reads as a finished, freestanding piece, while functionally it remains a true toe-kick vanity — enclosed, so floor-fed supply and waste lines have somewhere to go, with the foot clearance that makes standing at a sink comfortable. Three toe kick styles are available. Angled is a clean, chamfered profile that reads transitional and pairs with flat-panel doors and squared-edge countertops. Rounded is a softer, radiused profile that is the versatile pick when mixing traditional trim with contemporary fixtures, and holds up well in smaller rooms. Decorative is the most traditional of the three, with shaped detail echoing the base of a real furniture piece — the right choice for older colonials and center-hall traditionals. The Montlake Profile is fully modular: accessory cabinets extend a single vanity into a longer built-in-looking run, plus drawer banks, linen hamper pull-outs, tall linen closets, and storage pull-outs. It also works with the standard Montlake accessories including on-counter linen cabinets and knee drawers, so existing Montlake cabinetry is not orphaned.
