One of the most common questions at the showroom when a stained vanity arrives is why it does not look exactly like the sample. With Woodpro Cabinetry the answer is also the reason people choose it: Woodpro builds its vanities from genuine hardwood, and real wood is never uniform. Even within the same species, individual boards range from lighter to darker in tone and differ in grain density and character. Those differences change how each board absorbs stain, so two pieces finished in the same stain can show subtle differences in color and depth. In Woodpro's words, this is part of the beauty of working with real wood, and no two vanities will be completely identical. A Woodpro walnut sample shows the stained, finished side next to the natural, unstained side. The unstained side shows pale streaks beside deep chocolate bands, darker mineral flecks, and grain that tightens and opens across the board; on the stained side the overall tone is evened out but the banding and grain still read through. Woodpro samples are intended as a general representation of the finish, and the finished vanity may show natural variation in color, grain, and tone.
